My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms were a bit chilly from other guests and in need of some updating, the service was excellent, especially at the carvery. The location was convenient for my needs, but the dining options were limited and not the best value for money.

The hotel had rooms that could have benefited from air conditioning as it was very hot, but they were equipped with a nice bathroom, TV, and tea/coffee facilities. The rooms could use some updating but were clean and overlooked a large grassy area with a cherry tree shedding its petals. The service was a mix of attentive, friendly, and professional staff, although there were issues with damp and musty smells in our room. The location was excellent for our journey, offering easy access to various attractions in the area. The dining experience had some cleanliness issues but still offered superb choices. Overall, a mixed experience with both positives and negatives.
